headphones for running
How often do you find that your usual headphones just don't cut it when you want to listen to some tunes while taking a morning jog? Do they always seem to pop out? Do you ever get frustrated and decide to just take them out? then you're carrying your headphones around as you run. AH! how annoying!
What you need to do is go get yourself a pair of wireless headphones for running. Before we get into some of the important factors to look for in a pair of headphones though you need to make sure that you have a solid return policy from wherever you're going to buy. You could go through 3 or 4 until you find a perfect pair and the only you'll be able to try them out is to buy them, stick them in and start running.
Once you know you've got a store that will allow you to return the headphones within a reasonable time frame ts time to take a look at some design features that will help out with your headphones/jogging woes.
There are two designs that do well with exercise.
1. Behind the neck band
2. In the ear (with supports)
The behind the neck band design is great because it doesn't rely on a band that sits on top of your head. Those designs are easily shook off by too much movement so when the band is behind the neck it completely eliminates that problem. The strength of the band also alleviates the weight of the actual phones on the ears to avoid potential uncomfortability of the headphones.
The second design is like any ear bud design with one important difference. These stereo headphones will have a piece of plastic that fits snugly behind your ear like glasses. These will hold on very well and are independent of each other so they have more adherence to your ear and head. In fact I am currently wearing some Nike headphones built just like this and I thoroughly enjoy them they fit my ears well and are light enough that I can wear them for hours on end without them getting uncomfortable at all.
So make sure you take these factors into account and I'm sure you'll be able to find a good wireless headphones for running.
